Máy phân tích nguyên tố CHNS-O model: ESC 8040 chuyên dùng để phân tích các nguyên tố: CHNS-O (Carbon-Hydro-Nitơ-Lưu Hùynh-Oxygen), CHN (Carbon-Hydro-Nitơ), CN(Carbon-Hydro), O(Oxyen), S(Lưu huỳnh) trong các loại mẫu như sau: Chất thải, cặn, rác, đất, trầm tích, các lọai thực vật, sinh khối, dầu và chất bôi trơn, xăng dầu và nhiên liệu, than, đất, phân bón, thức ăn chăn nuôi, hạt chứa dầu, nhựa, cao su, dược phẩm và các sản phẩm khác

ECS 8040 là máy phân tích nguyên tố C-H-N-S-O dựa trên phương pháp đốt Dumas.

ECS 8040 là một hệ thống hiện đại để phân tích nguyên tố dựa trên quá trình đốt mẫu và phân tách khí bằng cột sắc ký.

Các sản phẩm sau khi đốt CO2, H2O, N2 và SO2, được phân tách tách và định lượng bằng đầu dò TCD độ phân giải cao.

Các bộ phận của máy ESC 8040 bao gồm:
