Máy kiểm tra chu kỳ nhiệt được thiết kế để xác định khả năng chịu đựng và độ ổn định của hệ thống ống nhựa nhiệt dẻo khi phải chịu tác động của các chu kỳ nhiệt độ theo thời gian quy định dưới tải trọng áp suất nội bộ xác định. Thiết bị này áp dụng cho các hệ thống ống dẫn dự kiến sử dụng để dẫn nước nóng và lạnh có áp suất.

Máy kiểm tra chu kỳ nhiệt thiết lập một hệ thống phân loại cho các điều kiện dịch vụ thông thường của hệ thống nước nóng và lạnh có áp suất.
